  1. You can directly request the service to your attending physician at Clínica Universidad de los Andes. Another alternative, available for those who have not been treated at our Clinic, is to write to segundaopinion@clinicauandes.cl, describing your case.
  2. You will be contacted to schedule an appointment with one of our specialist doctors, who will request your background information to prepare your clinical file.
  3. The file will be translated and sent to Massachusetts General Hospital in the United States.
  4. A Massachusetts General Hospital specialist will evaluate the case and send their recommendation to Chile.
  5. The doctor from Clínica Universidad de los Andes will meet with the patient to explain the report received from the United States and assist in any questions or concerns that the patient and family members may have.
